Information on choosing and placing safety signs

Placing safety signs, safety information and markings is one of the preventive measures that inform both employees and other persons about the possibility of a dangerous situation, by indicating or prohibiting an action or determining the necessary conduct at a workplace or territory. When placing safety signs, safety information and markings, it is necessary to ensure that the information provided is understandable and noticed in time. When choosing the size of safety signs, take into account the ratio of sign size to viewing distance specified in standard LVS 446:2004.
