Course topics - legislative requirements for putting into operation, use and maintenance, documentation, organisation of work, briefing and training of service personnel (operators), risk factors and occupational safety requirements, requirements for action in accident and emergency situations.

Legal act - Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 518 "Procedure for the technical supervision of pressure equipment complexes".

Certificate of the completed training, "Atbildīgais speciālists par spiedieniekārtām" (in Latvian and English), is issued to course graduates for 5 years.
